Some of my favorite products are in our Wild Rose line. Neal’s Yard Remedies has three very unique and different products in this line and they come in beautiful packaging and are full of fantastic ingredients. As an NYR Organic Independent Consultant, I know that these are some of my customers’ (and my own) favorites!! But what is the difference between Wild Rose Beauty Balm, Wild Rose Beauty Elixir, and Wild Rose Body Elixir?
Wild Rose Beauty Balm
This product is one of our most famous and award-winning products.Wild Rose Beauty Balm comes in a jar and the product is solid at room temperature and quickly softens and melts in your hand. It can be used anywhere on your body. Some people use it as a cleanser. Some people use it as a moisturizing mask. And some people use it to soothe tired skin.
The first five ingredients are:
- Wild Rose Seed Oil (boosts radiance)
- Jojoba Seed Oil (very similar to the moisture our skin creates naturally but slows as we age)
- Beeswax (good source of vitamin A, soothes and protects the skin)
- Shea Butter (very moisturizing and can help heal cracked or burned skin)
- Hemp Seed Oil (the Omega 3 and Omega 6’s make this a very hydrating oil)
Because of the beeswax, this is not a vegan product, but it is 99% organic. That means if you take all of the ingredients and if they are certified organic or not, and how much of them is in the product, it is 99% organic. Certified organic by the Soil Association. Why is organic important? Read here!

Wild Rose Beauty Elixir
Wild Rose Beauty Elixir is one of my personal favorites. I use it at least once a day, between my toner and moisturizer. It comes in a bottle with a pump and is thick liquid consistency. The Wild Rose Beauty Elixir is created to go on your face. It feels awesome and has key ingredients that help create a radiant, even skin tone.
The first five ingredients are
- water
- Glycerin (helps lock in moisture)
- Cetearyl olivate (comes from olive oil; hypoallergenic and highly moisturizing)
- Palmitoyl tripeptide-5 (a peptide to improve elasticity)
- Rosehip Essential Oil (comes from the fruit, not the petals; great for vibrant skin; has high vitamin A content)
The Wild Rose Beauty Elixir also has Turmeric extract (known to help age spots and skin tone) and one of my favorite ingridents: Sodium Hyaluronate. Plus essential oils of Geranium, Frankincense, Rosemary, Palmarosa, and Patchouli. This product is vegan and contains 82% certified organic ingredients.
Wild Rose Body Elixir
The Wild Rose Body Elixir is a very unique product. More a gel than a lotion, but used all of the body. It comes in a plastic squeeze bottle but still with that beautiful label. It adds a glow and radiance to your skin. I love to add it to my legs, especially when I am wearing a dress.
The first five ingredients are:
- Wild soybean oil (has natural antioxidants; makes the product come together and not separate; keeps skin smooth)
- Sucrose tetrastearate triacetate (an ingredient that makes it easy to spread)
- Cocoa Butter (moisturizing, great antioxidants, can improve skin elasticity and skin tone)
- Beeswax (good source of vitamin A, soothes and protects the skin)
- Brazil seed oil (full of vitamins, hydrating, helps provide natural glow)
The Wild Rose Body Elixir also contains the same rosehip oil as in the Wild Rose Beauty Elixir and the following essential oils: Acai, Geranium, Frankincense, Patchouli, Ylang Ylang, Grapefruit, plus Turmeric extract and Grape Skin extract. The product contains 84% certified organic ingredients.
Summary
These are all three fabulous products. It should be noted that we also have a Wild Rose Hand Cream, which I did not detail, but is also quite wonderful. But I highlighted Wild Rose Beauty Balm, Wild Rose Beauty Elixir, and Wild Rose Body Elixir because they are very unique products, not quite like anything else in the catalog. Neal’s Yard Remedies really created something wonderful with these items. As with all the NYR products, no GMOs, No Synthetic Fragrances, No Parabens, No Silicones, No Phthalates.
I hope you understand a bit more about the difference between Wild Rose products from Neal’s Yard Remedies. Have you tried any of these products? Which is your favorite? Comment below and be sure to get all the tips, information, and deals on my Facebook group Alicia’s Organic VIPs!
